Weather impacting Washington, Holmes and Jackson County School District bus routes

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Due to forecasted heavy rain, Washington, Holmes and Jackson County School Districts have issued a new bus route today.

According to all three counties, Tuesday, buses will only run on paved and milled roads due to potentially hazardous road conditions.

For families that live on dirt roads, the schools recommend they meet the buses at the end of the road for both morning and afternoon routes.

Officials will continue to monitor the road conditions for tomorrow and notify parents of any changes.
